Boat Details
Designed by the renowned American yacht designer Chuck Paine and built by Able Marine in Maine USA the Able Custom 42 was conceived to be the ultimate in high quality offshore capable cruising yachts. With her classic looks, sweeping sheer line and traditional overhangs 'Meridian of Beaulieu' stands out from the crowd and has many innovative features (such as her winged keel, carbon rig and in boom furling mainsail) designed to make her a swift and capable passage maker.
Sleeping a potential six across two double cabins and the saloon her interior is spacious, practical and designed with extended cruising in mind. A raised doghouse style saloon and galley area with large all round, eye level windows provides great visibility while at anchor or underway. With a deep safe cockpit and solid bulwarks all round the Able 42 inspires confidence in her ability to look after her crew in the toughest of conditions.
